He is also a creative problem-solver, digital entrepreneur, graphic designer, travel photographer, tour guide, and chronic world traveler.When not exploring Turkey, Portugal, Romania, Israel, Mexico, Ukraine, England, Spain, or another country on the to-travel-to list, he resides in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Veniţi Creştini la Rugăciune, has been sung for years in many Romanian churches for opening worship. It combines a unique blend of spiritual intensity and rough-hewn spontaneity, reflecting worship of common people of the earth more than the elegance of cathedrals. And yet, it speaks its own language of elegance and God’s grace.The song is a call to worship, born out of a period of personal and religious oppression, and speaks of coming to God in reverence, humility, freedom, and expectation. The English text adaptation retains somber elements of its original form while broadening to include the fullness of God’s presence in gathered worship.This choral arrangement offers Romanian and English texts. The harmonic structure includes some inevitable divisi typical in Slavic sacred music, yet is intuitive and accessible by serious choirs of moderate experience.Digital copies can be ordered from Lilly Chapel Press for $1.25 per choir member.

Veniţi Creştini la Rugăciune was arranged for 4-part men's voices in anticipation of this new arrangement being sung by a Pennsylvania men's choir in the Spring of 2020.This arrangement offers both Romanian and English texts. Great Things was composed for the marriage celebration of friends who met while serving on a mission in Israel. He asked for her hand in marriage by the slopes of Israel's Mt. Hermon (she said yes!). They requested Psalms 126 & 133 to serve as the foundation for the text to underscore the beauty of unity, and how unity is compared to the dews of Mt. Hermon in Psalm 133:3. This piece served as the recessional after their wedding ceremony and was conducted by Wendell Glick.Beginning as SATB, about one-third of the way through, the voicing of this piece opens into SSATBB. The vocal range sits slightly higher than normal for soprano and at times for alto and tenor. Just shy of a minute in length, Great Things works well as a strong, brief recessional song.Digital copies can be ordered for $1.25 per choir member by contacting me.
